Larry Li on the Forbes Top 20 Notable Chinese American List
Congrats to our own Larry Li! He made his appearance on the Forbes Top 20 Notable Chinese American List.
“There are about 160,000 Chinese Americans in the United States who invest or own companies. They generate more than $240 billion in revenue and 1.3 million jobs every year” — “Economist Intelligence Unit” (EIU)
Among the 60 people on the list, 18 are women, accounting for 30%; in terms of industry sectors, most of the winners are from finance, technology and eduction; Geographically, they are mainly from Silicon Valley, Los Angeles, New York and Canada.
On the Top 20 “business leaders” list, the average annual revenue of the companies where the selected candidates are from is $3.82 billion USD. Among them are not only Coursera founder Andrew Ng, Zoom CEO Eric Yuan, but also Li Ke, executive vice president of the company, Larry Qiang Li, founder of Amino Capital, angel investor of the fintech unicorn Chime Bank, and Hou Xiaodi, chief technology officer of TuSimple, a world-leading autonomous driving public company.
